I not only write about living a life of passion and “personal relevance," I do my small part to help create this in others’ lives in experiential ways. Drawing on a professional background in event planning (combined with my desire to connect people of various persuasions), I’ve partnered with four other brilliant individuals to create Epiphany Works, LLC. Our common goal is to inspire others—not by leading them, but by aligning them with activities that ignite their own inner spark. Our events are beyond the ordinary and a bit mysterious, yet simple and fun.

Epiphany Works’ Mission Statement: to provide forums for enlightening entertainment – based in spiritual traditions and world cultures – that awaken a sense of awe, wonder and radical amazement at the miracle of life, beauty of community and infinite potential of higher consciousness.

A rich tapestry of rhythm, self-expression and sheer joy unfolds on the rivers of Pittsburgh when hundreds of people converge for RiverBeat, the city’s only interactive hand-drumming cruise, facilitated by world-class musicians. With the theme of “Three Rivers, One Rhythm,” this autumn cruise offers a more “fluid” take on drum circles, a participatory music phenomenon that is catching fire across the country as a means of stress relief, community bonding and creative expression.

“Deepening the Connection, Heightening Intuitive Awareness”

Thirty individuals from five states gathered in Pittsburgh in October 2004 for an intimate, intensive healing workshop focused on the art and science of healing. Epiphany Works hosted renowned energy healer Edemir Rossi from Curitiba, Brazil. Our objective was to have attendees experience a more vivid existence, not the sepia-tone version—and did they ever. As evidenced by the powerful feedback we’ve received, each participant was transformed in his or her own way. As Edemir stated at the retreat’s conclusion, “Life will never be the same again.”

The purpose of the Fest — held at LaRoche College in Allison Park and, previously at Robin Hill Mansion in Moon Township — has been to create a forum for the personal exploration of mind-body-spirit wellness and conscious living. Our practitioners and professionals represented a dynamic mix of the area's abundant healthy living resources. This event has drawn hundreds of people from the western Pennsylvania region and beyond, and was featured on WQED-TV, a PBS affiliate. What people have said about the Fest:
